BioJeremy is one of a few living southern gentleman, though not in the sense that the two go together. He tends to be confusing both to know and to be, and oddly enough is ok with this.
Jeremy has had a long and troubled tenure at the School of Life. He gets poor marks, though all of his teachers say that if he applied himself he could be a straight-A student. Teachers are paid to say things like this though, so he tends not to listen too well.
He has in the course of his life done the following:
Slept on Public Benches
Played music for money, for the religious
Played music for money, on a street corner
Gotten stopped several times in the Boston airport, within one trip
Snuggled various and sundry kittens
Snuggled various and sundry canines
Snuggled various and sundry peoples
Been in a cast of the Rocky Horror Picture Show
Been nearly naked in a theater full of people, at the above
Been in several embarrassing slash compromising situations, also re the above (and dressed in the above)
Won in fistfights
Lost in more fistfights
Been a horseman of the apocalypse
Been a bluesman
Been a haiku saint
Been a guitar hero
Been a best friend
Been a sworn enemy
Dated a married woman (with kids)
Been a psuedo father
Dated (dating) a nice Newfie girl, whom he hopes to tie the knot with as soon as the Canadian government lets him stay in their loverly country longer than six months at a time
Been suicidal
Been life-affirming and entirely positive
Been both at the same time
Written songs
Written poems
Written stories
Written a book
Had various and sundry injuries, most of which have fun (or not so fun) stories attached
In short, Jeremy has had, as the scholars put it, a Full Life. The miracle is, of course, that he's survived it, and despite his nigh-constant bitching is still of the opinion that being alive is a Good Thing. (Though not in a Martha Stewart way.)
He likes snuggles, huggles, nuzzles, Mike's Hard Lemonade, off-color jokes, friends, a good tumble, a bad tumble that he walks instead of limps away from, foreign films, melee weaponry, music of just about any kind except pop-country, and really anything that catches his eye/ear/mind.
He appreciates any and all comments, even the bad ones, just so long as they're not so offensive as to scare off others. Though that's a mighty fine line.
